We provide high-quality services for people who have complex needs associated with mental illness, challenging behaviour, dementia and other long term conditions. We want to empower the individual to express their own choices, take positive risks and support them to achieve their life goals, lifestyle and maintain their relationships with family, friends and the communities from where they come.
Our homes are organised into dedicated units providing specialist residential and nursing care. We offer long-term support, including complex and palliative care, delivered with a high level of nursing expertise.
We also provide care and support for individuals living with traumatic or acquired brain injuries, neurodegenerative conditions, cognitive impairment and those who may be experiencing social exclusion.
We encourage residents across our homes to fulfil their potential and continue leading active, meaningful lives as part of the community.
Our dedicated Activities Coordinators ensure residents can enjoy a variety of daily activities tailored to their interests and abilities, whether as part of a group or individually.
Alongside the daily programme, we regularly welcome visiting performers and community groups, such as singers and entertainers. Our ethos is that every moment offers an opportunity for residents to feel engaged, stimulated and socially connected.
Our aim is to provide delicious, nutritionally balanced meals for every resident. All dishes are freshly prepared, with menus carefully designed to reflect individual dietary needs and personal tastes.
At The Willow Community, our Homes have established an excellent reputation for the quality of their nursing care.
Our dedicated team of highly qualified care staff are available 24 hours a day to provide personal care, support and clinical expertise. We recognise that every resident’s needs are different, and the level of nursing care required will vary, so we tailor our care to the individual needs of each person.
Across our Homes we are committed to delivering the highest standards of nursing care while always treating residents with dignity, compassion and respect. Family and friends are always welcome and are encouraged to visit, whether to share a meal or simply spend time together.
Dementia affects many people across the UK, and the behaviours and symptoms associated with the condition can sometimes be difficult to understand. Our staff are specially trained to support individuals living with dementia and to provide care that is compassionate, respectful and tailored to each person.
We are able to support residents living with dementia across our Homes. The most suitable environment will vary from person to person and will be determined following an initial assessment to ensure we provide the right level of care and support.
All of our Homes are designed to be dementia-friendly environments, and we are able to provide specialist care for residents who require nursing support alongside their dementia care.
Across our Homes, our experienced teams of Registered Nurses and Care Assistants are trained to provide high-quality dementia care, ensuring residents feel safe, supported and understood.
We’d love to welcome you for a visit and show you what makes our homes special.
